About: I am currently a Senior at Pleasant Valley High School. I am still undecided about which type of engineering field I would like to study, But right now I am leaning towards computer software. I've always liked dealing with computers and coding, and also I especially like using CAD to create different designs. I also am undecided on whether or not I want to play basketball in college. Right now I have a handful of scholarship offers to play, and I still do not know whether I am going to or not. So far I am only considering the schools that have engineering programs.
I love participating in as many activities as I can. In high school I have played basketball, tennis, and football. Also, I am a member of the National Honor Society after being inducted during my junior year. My sophomore year, I was our student council vice-president. The engineering classes that I have taken in high school have been a blast. I have had the privilege to work with many modern day inventions such as solar panels, hydrogen fuel cells, CAD software, a 3D printer, and many other numerous things that have helped me learn. I have experience with computer programming as I have taken classes on my own and enjoy it very much. In the future my career aspirations are to graduate from a four-year college with a degree in computer or software engineering and right away go to work for an engineering company like John Deere or International Paper. Skills: Math and Science are my two favorite subjects in school. I am proficient in both and love to learn more and more every day. In high school I have taken calculus and physics and they both have a lot to do with engineering. In my engineering classes, I have learned skills such as programming and CAD modeling. Also during my junior year we learned a lot about electrical circuits and how they work.
